Placing Your Home on the Market
The first step to listing your home is to have a complimentary Market Analysis done by Brooke and Amy. This meeting takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour where we tour your home and ask questions about updates etc. A Market analysis is similar to an appraisal, but helps in determining a market value for your home.
- We consider the amount paid for recently sold homes in your community. These homes will be comparable in size to yours and together comprise a factual record of what buyers will pay.
- We will then consider the asking prices of a presently listed homes in your community. Because these homes are similar to yours, these homes will be the benchmarks against which your home will be priced.
We also can provide a net sheet for your review so that you know what your estimated proceeds could be based on a certain sales price. Once a list price is determined and you are ready to hit the market we can have your home up and running online within a few days.

During our walkthrough and listing appointment, we love to hear about the special features and floorplan of your home. Feel free to make a list of them, along with updates and ages of mechanicals etc, so that we can share with prosepctive buyers.
